The breakfast was outstanding there, the beds were exceptionally comfortable, all you need for a really great stay. The gardens were gorgeous and my room was fabulous and warm. I stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed the brilliant location.

Just a walk down to attractions, including ullswater steamers. The hotel was in a great location for what we wanted it for. Choosing for lunch Beckside Bar, which is situated 600 metres away was a good idea
